Our Past District Governor Augustine Lee DTM was elected today as the International Director for Region outside the United States. What a breakthrough for our District! Please join me to congratulate Augustine Lee DTM for this triumph.

Augustine Lee DTM garnered 5,914 votes while his opposing candidate Dick Briggs DTM (District 73, Australia) managed 4,241 votes. Augustine Lee DTM is from the Lion City Toastmasters Club.

The Toastmasters International Board of Directors provides leadership to Toastmasters members worldwide. Once elected, board members work for the benefit of all clubs and members in the organisation. They do not represent a particular region, district, or a particular cause.

As the governing body of the organisation, the board establishes policy and guidelines in the ares of education, administration and growth and leads Toastmasters International by setting the strategic direction. Such policies are administered on a day-to-day basis by World headquarters.
