As an organization, we believe that:

- The Toastmasters program provides people with the opportunity to build confidence in their ability to express themselves articulately.

- A Toastmasters Club is the educational laboratory that contributes to the betterment of the world by providing people with the opportunity to learn the vital skills of thinking, listening, and speaking. The Club provides the enjoyable, positive, supportive, non-academic environment in which people can learn these skills.

Learning is self-directed and self-paced, so people may set learning goals that meet their individual needs and may progress as quickly as they choose through the programs.
