Congratulatory letter from International President and Executive Director, Toastmasters International
July 26, 2001
Dear Christopher:
Our organization is continuing its growth momentum. By surpassing your District's goals, you contributed significantly to Toastmasters' continuing success.
On behalf of the Officers and Board of Directors of Toastmasters International, you have our sincerest congratulations for being singled out as PRESIDENT DISTINGUISHED DISTRICT Governor. Successfully leading a team is a tremendous opportunity to set goals, arrive at strategies, and build the cooperative spirit that is needed to achieve great things. You and your team have surpassed your objectives. Now you have earned the gratitude and esteem of a grateful organization, as well as the Toastmasters in your District.
We commend you and your District for being recognized with the EXCELLENCE IN LEADERSHIP AWARD for three or more consecutive years as a Distinguished District. This is an outstanding accomplishment and high honor which serves as a tribute to your leadership and the leadership of your predecessors. This continuity of achievement and cooperation is what makes Toastmasters International a leader in effective communication.
In addition, we congratulate your Lt. Governor Education and Training for achieving the Excellence in Education and Training Award, and commend your Lt. Governor Marketing for achieving the Excellence in Marketing Award. These awards truly signify a total team effort toward achieving the District Mission.
As a gesture of our appreciation for your many contributions during this past year, we will be more than happy to write to the chief executive officer of your organization, informing him or her of your achievement. Please let the Executive Director know to whom the letter should be directed, and it will be mailed following the Convention.
Again, please convey our best wishes and heartiest congratulations to your District team!
Sincerely,
