Dear fellow Toastmasters
On behalf of the 2000-2001 District Executive Committee, I like to express
our most sincere appreciation to all Club Officers and Toastmasters in
District 51. You have been so wonderful in your passion for Toastmasters.
It has been our pleasure serving all of you.
Thank you for helping your members experience breakthroughs, and in doing so
helped your Club, Area, Division and District to experience more
breakthroughs!
During the year, some of you may remembered me saying this popular quotation
by an anonymous writer. It is even more meaningful now for me to share it
with you again:
"Some people come into our lives and quietly go,
others stay for a while, and leave footprints on our hearts
and we are never the same again."
Fellow Toastmasters, I feel so proud of each of you, because I know during
the last 12 months you have truly left many footprints on the hearts of many
Toastmasters. Each of you, in your very own simple way, have dedicated your
time and effort to help your members grow and succeed in their communication
and leadership skills. I firmly believe that your efforts have helped your
fellow members experienced the breakthrough and making a difference in their
lives (now they are never the same again). You have done it! Give yourself
a pat on the shoulder and a hug!
Once again, thank you for giving us the honour to serve you this term.
Thank you for believing in us, even as we continue to learn to be better
leaders each day.
Tomorrow will be the beginning of a new term, and let us continue to
Experience the Breakthrough, and Create Our Destiny. I am confident that
our new leaders will continue to shine brightly.
EXPERIENCE THE BREAKTHROUGH
Most sincerely
DTM Christopher Teo
