How is your Membership Campaign?
Good Morning ! I have been absent for 12 days away in Miami for the
69th Toastmasters International Convention. It was an eye-opener for
me there in such a great convention.
BTW, how is the membership campaign ? Have clubs in your areas
recruited new members ? We are convinced that they are working very
hard to bring Toastmasters benefits to the community.
* Toastmasters can benefits virtually everyone
* A person will join if he or she believes in you
* You must encourage the VPM of every clubs to guide prospective
members to understand the importance of Toastmasters learning
** make every club meeting a sales tool
-- have a well planned club meeting agenda. The Toastmasters of the
day will keep the meeting on track
-- General Evaluator manages the evaluation of the club meeting
He/she introduces the grammarian, Ah counter, and Speech Evaluators
He/She then provides a general overview of the meeting, highlighting
areas which was well done and suggest areas of improvement
-- Speech evaluators shall provide feedback to manual speakers
Begin with comments reinforcing specific things the speaker did
well. Next provide areas for improvement - be specific and
positive. Finally close with a positive/upbeat comment designed
to encourage the speaker to give the next speech
** table topics master to lead the impromptu session. Topics to be drawn
from a variety of current issues and sources
** Timers shall play an important role to help the speaker to keep their

to join. Follow up to help them join. Then encourage them to participate
in the Toastmasters program......
