Results of the World Championship of Public Speaking

What a thrill to witness "live" nine of the best speakers in the world. Here's the winners of this contest:

Champion: Ed Tate, Region III
2nd place: David Romanchick, Region VII
3rd place: Robert Opple, Region I

Champion speaker Tate spoke on the title "One of those days" and he made a strong connection with the audience in his opening. He spoke on the importance of being nice to people through his flight experience with United Airlines. Second place speaker Romanchick spoke on "Seen but not heard", talked on the father-son relationship with emphasis on listening. Third place speaker Opple is a 60 year-old speaker who spoke on "I choose to be OK".
